About Bridget Wheatley
Bridget Wheatley is an established jeweller, living & working in Oxfordshire.
Bridget epitomizes the term designer/maker with an instinctive talent & curiosity, which has stayed with her from her childhood in Hertfordshire.

After graduating in 1983 from Birmingham School of Jewellery, Bridget developed some of her early collections experimenting with woo plastics and metal. Exhibiting at Trade Exhibitions with ‘Design Gap’, her work has sold to shops & Galleries around the world, including ’Liberty of London’ & ‘Dazzle’ Exhibitions.

In 1995 she moved to Oxford to open her first shop ‘Uniikki’, on the multi-cultural Cowley Road. In 2000 her venture her took to 38 Cowley Road, where she formed Bridget Wheatley Contemporary Jewellery, earning a reputation for her gem set rings and her bold…sometimes delicate…but always striking collections.

Bridget now is working from a purpose-built studio to focus on handcrafted, bespoke and small run collections. While her style evolves and remains instinctive; her quality and wear-ability remains unaltered. Her recent additions to the Robin Collection reflect her love of more three dimensional, sculptural work and takes inspiration from her love of animals and nature.
