In addition to the precious jewellery in Bridget’s Bella, Wedding & Engagement collections, Bridget will provide a personalised & bespoke service, employing traditional jewellery techniques providing a good quality end result.

The Process

Please contact by email bridget@bridgetwheatley.com or mobile 07887501409 to discuss your design. The following information is helpful for the design process.

  • contact details including address and email
  • materials and /or stones to be used
  • rough sketches/images if you have them
  • ring size or other dimensions
  • idea of budget
  • a date the item is required

 

Once a consultation has taken place Bridget will put together ideas in the form of sketches or a model in silver to help you visualize your design/options. This process is free and she is happy to keep working on the design until you are satisfied with the concept.

 

If stones are part of the project, a small collection can be ordered for you to view without obligation. Once you are happy to proceed a deposit of 50% is payable and the balance paid on completion. A delivery date will be agreed.

Notes

Bespoke jewellery is more expensive than ‘off the shelf’ jewellery, an original piece in precious metal will start from around £1000.
Please be aware that the cost of a bespoke piece is estimated and prices may fluctuate due to estimated weight of metal and fluctuating costs in the raw materials and processes.

Each bespoke piece presents new design challenges and every piece is made by hand to an exacting standard. These special items take time to create and every effort is made to meet short delivery times, but a longer delivery is preferred.

Once an order has been placed you have entered into a contract with Bridget and you agree with her terms and conditions. You may cancel your commission within 5 days of placing the order and your deposit will be refunded as soon as possible or within 28 days.

Please note commissioned pieces cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

Any changes to the design must be given with 5 days of placing the order.
